We chose to upholster this cafe racer seat with synthetic leather because it has a higher resistance to weather elements and is easier to maintain compared to real leather.
We used ABS for the seat base because it is lightweight and rust-resistant.
The materials used in this seat are the same as those used in modern motorcycles.
By choosing this seat for your project, you can have a modern seat with a vintage look.
Installation: To install this seat, you’ll need to trim the subframe at the rear and weld on a new base plate provided in the installation kit.
There’s also a plastic cover included that goes over the lower half of the seat.
This cover is designed so that you can neatly hide the various electrical parts.
